The story
🌱
Independent & mission-driven
European Sleeper launched in 2023 as a private operator on a mission to rebuild cross-border night rail. Not a national operator — a startup that proved the demand exists.
🛋️
Couchettes & sleeper cabins
Couchette berths (shared 6-berth) from ~€59, sleeper cabins (private 1–3 berth) from ~€109. Both include bedding. Sleeper cabins include breakfast. Book at europeansleeper.eu.
🎟️
Interrail & Eurail accepted
Both passes cover European Sleeper journeys. Reservation fees apply: ~€35–59 for couchettes, ~€89–109 for sleeper cabins. Book reservations directly at europeansleeper.eu.
📅
3 days per week — plan ahead
Unlike daily Nightjet services, European Sleeper runs 3 times per week per route. Check the schedule at europeansleeper.eu and book early — popular dates sell out months ahead.

Unique corridors
Brussels–Prague is the only direct overnight connection on that corridor. Berlin–Paris fills a gap where no Nightjet service currently runs. These aren't routes you can replicate with any other operator.
♻️
90%+ less CO₂ than flying
Brussels to Berlin by European Sleeper: ~15 kg CO₂ per person. The equivalent flight: ~107 kg. The numbers are striking and getting better as the European grid decarbonises.
European Sleeper runs 3 overnight routes: Brussels → Prague (via Amsterdam and Berlin), Berlin → Paris, and Brussels → Milan. Services run 3 days per week on each route.
Yes. An Interrail or Eurail Global Pass is accepted on European Sleeper services. You pay a reservation fee on top (approximately €35–59 for a couchette, €89–109 for a sleeper cabin). Book at europeansleeper.eu.
European Sleeper runs 3 days per week on each route — not daily like ÖBB Nightjet. Check the current schedule at europeansleeper.eu as exact days vary by season.
Book directly at europeansleeper.eu for best availability. Tickets open 180 days in advance. Couchettes start from €59 and sell out fast on popular dates.
European Sleeper is a smaller, independent operator launched in 2023 with a mission to revive cross-border night trains. Routes are fewer and less frequent than Nightjet, but the Brussels–Prague service is the only direct overnight connection on that corridor.
